Countdown to Transfer

9 Days until my transfer!!  But who's counting?

I won't lie.  I started getting a bit nervous today.  I even thought about calling the doctor to see if we could move up the date.  I had to write out a prayer to calm myself down.  However, I may still schedule an extra acupuncture appointment.

Meantime, I am working on a green plan.  My acupuncture dude says green is my energy color.  Per usual, I kind of laughed at him.  As we get closer to my big day, I realize it can't hurt.  I plan to get a pedicure with green polish this weekend.  (crazy moment here) I've also planned out my transfer outfit. It's a green dress, but that could change. I don't know if I want to squeeze into spanx on that day. (Spanx are fantastic by the way)  Hmmm..I guess I'll bust out my green shirt with the small hole in it. LOL!

  2. Green theme for sure?!?! How do you feel with the acupuncture? I'm going to try it this July with our frozen embryo transfer. I hope it's successful!

    1. I like the acupuncture. I can't put my finger on why or if it even works. It may have turned into a pacifier for me. It does seem to calm me and I feel like my blood flows a little bit more. Again, I have no proof. This could all be mental for me, but it can't hurt, right?

For FET, his goal was to help my lining. I went in on cycle day 4 for that. I skipped my following appointment because I didn't have the $70. When I went in yesterday and told him the lining measured 13, he said it was time to work on calming me. After he used his magic needles on me, I did feel calm...so calm I wasn't sure I'd be able to effectively do my job. LOL!

  4. Green is my favourite colour. I've painted nearly every room in the house one shade of green or another. Good luck with the transfer. This is so exciting!!

  5. Hey from ICLW! I wish you the best of luck on your FET! I don't know much about the colors, but I can say I carefully chose my outfit for our FET and beta. When it turned out to be positive, I thought my lucky clothing items were my underware and a certain necklace. I ended up wearing the same underware and necklace for my second beta and first u/s. (I did wash them in between.) Unfortunately, my luck ran out and our u/s showed a m/c so I threw the underwear away! I hope green is more lucky for you!
